Thanks to a friend introducing me to the Freebie Scene, I have learnt that with a bit of effort you can get them for free and I'm going to explain, how you too can get yourself a free gift, such as a Playstation 3 for free.

One of the first
free gifts that I
obtained was a Nintendo Wii Fit as I only required 4 referrals
and
if I'm honest I also chose
this item, because I wanted to see if I could really get something for
free. When it arrived, it was nice to be able to prove to people that
it was possible to get something for free - as they were also sceptical.
The
second item that I
wanted was a Playstation 3, and once again after referring 15 people I
managed to get a free Playstation 3 in May 2009 and the kids
haven't stopped playing it since!
My third item was a Free Nintendo Wii, with additional Nintendo Wii Remote and Nintendo Wii Nunchuck. I ended up giving this to my parents as a 50th Birthday present, because they loved playing the kids' when they came over.
After receiving free gifts, I thought I would see if I could also really get free money after referring more people I then received two bank transfers for a total of £200.
Of all the free gifts that I have obtained, I think the free Playstation 3 has been the best of the lot. The Playstation 3 has allowed the kids to not only play great games in high definition, but the Playstation 3 also comes with a Blu-Ray player so we've bought loads of Blu-Ray movies!
In addition to the Blu-Ray facility being available on the Playstation 3, it comes in numerous versions with different hard disk drive capacities, at the time of writing this it was a 60Gb Hard drive.
When you first turn your Playstation 3 on you will be prompted to connect to the Playstation 3 network, whereby you can download software updates and browse the Internet. The Playstation 3 network not only provides these features, it also allows you to play games online with other players around the globe.

The Nintendo DSi is available in the UK from the 3rd April 2009. Many online stores are taking pre-orders for what many gadget experts believe with be the 'must have gadget' for 2009.
Nintendo have confirmed that the Nintendo DSi is the next evolution for the unbeatable DS Lite handheld console, which quite frankly was all conquering since its launch.
The Nintendo DSi is slimmer and includes loads of extra features that convert it into an impressive multimedia piece of equipment. The Nintendo DSi will be available in either matt black or stark whie, and already looks to be the best Nintendo handheld ever.
New features on the Nintendo DSi includes: 2 x 3.25 inch screens, both 8% bigger than the DS Lite's, Two camera's, SD Memory Slot and downloadable web browser and games via DSWare.
As we have said the Nintendo DSi is 12% slimmer than the Nintendo DS Lite. The Nintendo DSi boasts a 0.3 megapixel digital camera for 640 x 480 pixel pictures and a camera in the hinge that acts as a webcam. You can even edit pictures on the Nintendo DSi touch screens!
With a web browser built in to the Nintendo DSi, it allows you to surf the net straight out of the box! Web access also allows you to download games using DSWare, a new service for DSi owners that operates using Wii Points.
The Nintendo DSi is one of the first handheld games console to migrate to using standard SD Memory cards, replacing the GBA slot of the DS Lite. Improved audio options improves the Nintendo DSi features pitch and playback options.
Nintendo DSi has an extended stylus - and is now 4.5mm longer for those who found the DS Lites stylus a bit small.
The Nintendo DSi is sure to be wanted by all of the kids (and adults) that had the original Nintendo DS Lite, so why pay for the Nintendo DSi?
